Basketball Recap: Prentice Comes Up Short

Prentice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Athens Bluejays, falling 64-44. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bluejays this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-42 on Thursday.

Prentice's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Athens, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prentice will face off against Newman Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Athens, they will take on Auburndale at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
