Baseball Recap: Williams Bulldogs vs. Person Rockets
Williams was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Person Rockets, sneaking past 4-3. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Rockets on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-2 loss.

Williams got a great performance from Mason Fleenor as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts Fleenor has posted since back in February.
On the hitting side, Williams' win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Will Allen, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Williams' victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Person, they moved to 16-6 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Williams nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
