Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Liverpool). Everything went their way against the Edison Wildcats on Tuesday as they made off with an 8-0 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded East Liverpool with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Edison from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Maddox Roach led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for East Liverpool and bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Edison, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, East Liverpool will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Union Local at 6:30 p.m. As for Edison, they are taking a road trip to challenge Caldwell at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
