Softball Game Preview: Hitchcock Bulldogs vs. Boling Bulldogs

Hitchcock hasn't had much luck against Boling recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Hitchcock will look to defend their home field against Boling at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hitchcock is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Friday. They came up short against East Bernard, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, Boling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hempstead.

Briseis Zavala was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Jailianna Johnson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Boling's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Hitchcock, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Everything went Hitchcock's way against Boling when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Hitchcock made off with a 16-1 victory. Will Hitchcock repeat their success, or does Boling has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
