Basketball Game Preview: Midlothian Trojans vs. Huguenot Falcons

Midlothian is 2-8 against Huguenot since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Midlothian Trojans will host the Huguenot Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Midlothian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Huguenot likes a good challenge.

On Saturday, Midlothian came up short against Petersburg and fell 69-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Huguenot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Cosby, falling 55-34. The contest marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Huguenot's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Midlothian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything came up roses for Midlothian against Huguenot when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 60-27 win. Does Midlothian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Huguenot turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
