Basketball Recap: North Webster Skates Past Lakeside with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Webster). They breezed by the Lakeside Warriors to the tune of 75-39 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in January.

North Webster's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Lakeside, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Webster will challenge Doyline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Doyline knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully North Webster likes a good challenge. As for Lakeside, they are taking a road trip to square off against Plain Dealing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside is facing Plain Dealing at the right time seeing as Plain Dealing is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
