Soccer Recap: South Elgin Comes Up Short

South Elgin was the 4-0 winner over Saint Viator when they last played one another back in April of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Storm fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.

South Elgin's goal came courtesy of Christina Slovik, who's now up to two this season.

South Elgin's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Saint Viator, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Elgin will host Conant at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Saint Viator, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marist at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
