Basketball Recap: Frontier Academy Wolverines vs. Wray Eagles
Frontier Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 68-38 defeat at the hands of the Wray Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-40 two weeks ago.
Wray found their leader in sophomore Danyelle Davis, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 24 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Addison Jones, who posted nine points in addition to eight steals and five boards.
Frontier Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Wray, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-16.
Frontier Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-25 defeat against Windsor Charter Academy on the 25th. As for Wray, they have also already played their next game, a 37-30 loss against Valley on the 27th.
