St. Cloud extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. They put the hurt on the Poinciana Eagles with a sharp 35-12 victory. Fans of the Bulldogs have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

St. Cloud's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Lattier, who threw for 276 yards and two TDs while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt, and also punched in one rushing score. Cameron Dalton handled things on the ground, rushing for 94 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

St. Cloud didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Poinciana to a completion percentage of just 31.2%. The Bulldogs hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.56 or higher in five consecutive contests dating back to last season.

St. Cloud didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jude Cockcroft and Jowell Cruz.

As for Poinciana, they now have a losing record of 1-2. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Poinciana lost, don't look at Daveon Williams. Despite the final result, he rushed for 54 yards and a pair of scores.

St. Cloud has already played their next matchup, a 44-7 loss against Osceola on the 12th. As for Poinciana, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 31-0 defeat against Evans on the 12th.
