Baseball Recap: Hunters Lane Warriors vs. Lawson Lightning

Hunters Lane had lost eight straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 3-11 to make it nine. They lost 16-0 to the Lawson Lightning. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lightning from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

As for Lawson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games.

For Lawson's part, Hut Hargrove made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.
