Basketball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 77-21 loss at the hands of the Westview Chargers. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-17.

It was another big night for Maddie Gray, who posted 17 points for Westview. The match was Gray's third in a row with at least 15 points. Mccall Sims was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Westview, the victory (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

As of now, neither Madison nor Westview have any future games scheduled.
