Volleyball Recap: Maple Lake Comes Up Short

Maple Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Royalton Royals, falling 3-0. The Irish were not able to make up for their loss to the Royals from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Maple Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Royalton, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Maple Lake will square off against Sebeka at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Royalton, they will venture away from home to face off against Little Falls at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
