Volleyball Recap: Comp Sci Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Comp Sci had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They blew past the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

Comp Sci never let Academy of Science and Innovation on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-18, 25-22.

Comp Sci got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Thorpe out in front who had 15 kills and two blocks. Thorpe is crushing it when it comes to kills: he's had at least seven every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Wright, who had 24 assists and two blocks.

Comp Sci's record now sits at 13-6. As for Academy of Science and Innovation, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15.

As of now, neither Comp Sci nor the Ravens have any future games scheduled.
