Fredonia took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the West Elk Patriots. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Fredonia easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14.

Coincidentally, Fredonia and West Elk will both be playing Girard the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will head out to face the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
