After flying high against Hanover Park last Thursday, Madison came back down to earth. The Madison Dodgers took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Providence Pioneers. The game marked the Dodgers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Madison's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3. As for New Providence, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.

Madison has already played their next contest (against Kinnelon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Providence didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-17 victory against Johnson on the 19th.
