Having struggled with four losses in a row, Thornton Fractional South turned things around against Tinley Park on Friday. They managed a 27-22 victory over the Titans.

Meanwhile, Reavis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 19-13 to Blue Island Eisenhower. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Reavis' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2. As for Thornton Fractional South, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Thornton Fractional South didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Reavis in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 22-17 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
