East Chapel Hill extends road losing streak to six

The East Chapel Hill Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jordan. East Chapel Hill has struggled against Jordan recently, as their contest on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

East Chapel Hill lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaiah Styron, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Samuel Smith, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.

East Chapel Hill bumped their record down to 5-9 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Jordan, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

East Chapel Hill will head out on the road to square off against Hillside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hillside presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than East Chapel Hill in North Carolina (Hillside is ranked 129th, while East Chapel Hill is ranked 351st). As for Jordan, they will be playing at home against Riverside-Durham at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Riverside-Durham focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday.
