Volleyball Game Preview: Woods Charter Wolves vs. Falls Lake Firebirds

Woods Charter is 0-6 against Falls Lake since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wolves are taking a road trip to face off against the Firebirds at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Woods Charter sitting on 22 straight wins and Falls Lake on ten.

Woods Charter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over East Columbus.

Woods Charter's got stronger as the match went on, holding East Columbus to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-18, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Falls Lake made easy work of Vance Charter on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Falls Lake never let Vance Charter on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 26-24, 25-15.

Woods Charter's win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Falls Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 26-4.

Woods Charter might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Falls Lake in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. Can the Wolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
