Baseball Game Preview: Vista Ridge Rangers vs. United Longhorns

The Vista Ridge Rangers will face off against the United Longhorns at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Vista Ridge has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with five straight losses, while United will come in with six straight victories.

Vista Ridge fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against China Spring on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 8-7. One positive for the Rangers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, United never let their opponents score on Saturday. They came out on top against Palmview by a score of 3-0. The three-run effort marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

United's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Vista Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
