Silver Creek is 7-2 against Mt. Pleasant since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Silver Creek Raiders are taking a road trip to square off against the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Silver Creek is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Silver Creek came up short against Mission San Jose and fell 73-61. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1102nd, while the Warriors are ranked 402nd).

Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant entered their contest against Leland on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The game between Mt. Pleasant and Leland didn't end well, with Mt. Pleasant falling 84-67. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Silver Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6.

Silver Creek beat Mt. Pleasant 62-54 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Silver Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
