Soccer Recap: Osbourn Park Comes Up Short

If Osbourn Park was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Unity Reed last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Osbourn Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Osbourn Park were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Osbourn apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Osbourn Park's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Osbourn, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Osbourn Park will head out to square off against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Gainesville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Osbourn Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Osbourn, they will be playing at home against Potomac Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
