Soccer Recap: Mountain Range Takes a Loss

Mountain Range's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie View Thunderhawks. Jasmine Foltz was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

She and Guadalupe Rivas scored both of Mountain Range's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Mountain Range's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Prairie View, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Mountain Range will head out to take on Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain Range are facing Westminster at the right time seeing as Westminster are stuck on a five-game losing streak. Prairie View does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
