Softball Recap: Mcdonogh 35 Comes Up Short at Home Against Woodlawn-B.R.

McDonogh 35 unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 17-4 to the Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers on Saturday. The Roneagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Woodlawn-B.R. has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.

McDonogh 35 didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 20-0 defeat against Liberty Magnet on the 8th. Woodlawn-B.R. has also already played their next contest (against Edna Karr), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
