It was fun while it lasted, but New Rockford-Sheyenne's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Carrington Cardinals by a score of 72-70. The loss put an end to the Rockets' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Rockford-Sheyenne fell to 6-1. As for Carrington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Napoleon the next time they take the court. New Rockford-Sheyenne will head out to face Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Carrington will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
