Football Recap: Prattville Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Prattville had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 21-14 to the Pike Road Patriots. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Gunner Gibbs, who threw for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passing touchdowns (two).

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prattville will host Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Pike Road, they will welcome Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
