Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lebanon Yellowjackets. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Lebanon's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Morgan Durbin led the charge by putting up 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Perryman, who went 7 of 14 en route to 14 points and seven steals.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Lebanon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ash Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lebanon, they will square off against Joplin at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
