Basketball Game Preview: Lennox Orioles vs. Baltic Bulldogs

The Lennox Orioles will square off against the Baltic Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lennox's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.

Last Tuesday, Lennox beat Elk Point-Jefferson 63-54. Given the Orioles' advantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Huskies are ranked 82nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Baltic won against McCook Central/Montrose last Tuesday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Baltic came out on top against Garretson by a score of 50-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Baltic's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-6. As for Lennox, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
