Volleyball Recap: Trinity Prep Comes Up Short

The Trinity Prep Saints didn't have quite enough to beat the Faith Christian Lions on Friday and fell 3-2. While the Saints didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-11 in the first set.

Trinity Prep actually scored more points across those five sets (97-96), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 11-25, 25-18, 25-17, 20-25, 15-12.

Trinity Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. Faith Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will welcome Innovation Montessori at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faith Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cornerstone Charter Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
