Soccer Game Preview: Spring Valley vs. A.C. Flora

The Spring Valley Vikings will face off against the A.C. Flora Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Spring Valley's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Westwood. The result was nothing new for Spring Valley, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Westwood with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bar Cohen-Inbar (2), Rileigh Druell (2), Sofia Valafar, and Marie Conroy.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask A.C. Flora). They blew past York 9-0 on Monday. Give A.C. Flora's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

A.C. Flora has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those ten matchups. As for Spring Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
