Soccer Recap: Harrah Comes Up Short

If Harrah was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Ardmore last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 5-2 to the Chickasha Fightin Chicks on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for Harrah in their meetings with Chickasha: they've now lost four in a row.

Karrigan Reed and Brooke Robb scored both of Harrah's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Harrah's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-8-1. As for Chickasha, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Harrah will challenge rival Bethany at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chickasha is set to take on their familiar foe Mount St. Mary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
