Basketball Recap: Ponaganset Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Ponaganset's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past the Scituate Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 65-49. The Chieftains haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ponaganset's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points over those games. As for Scituate, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-12.
