Football Recap: North Rockland Raiders vs. Carmel Rams        
        
		
             The matchup between North Rockland and Carmel  on Saturday hardly resembled the  14-6 effort from their previous meeting. The North Rockland Raiders came out on top against the Carmel Rams by a score of  37-27. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered  a  14-6  loss the last time these two teams met.
  Jaquan Johnson was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 200 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per carry. With that strong performance,  he is now averaging an impressive 107  rushing yards per game. Another big playmaker for North Rockland was  Amari Occena, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
 North Rockland now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Rockland will host Scarsdale  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. North Rockland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 29  points per game  this season. As for Carmel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Arlington  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
