Softball Recap: East Marshall Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for East Marshall's offense. They lost 9-0 to the West Marshall Trojans on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 20-8. As for West Marshall, they pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, East Marshall will challenge Oelwein at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Marshall, they will square off against Nevada at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Cubs at the right time seeing as the Cubs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
