League recap: Warsaw scores huge upset over Southern Boone

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Warsaw, who took down 255th ranked Southern Boone, 25-14.

Osage moved up to 144 from 176 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Tri-County. The Indians climbed the ranks as a result of a 47-20 win over Eldon.

Osage's dynamic duo of Bo Dean and Dylan Jeffries proved tough for the Mustangs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Dean threw for 371 yards and one touchdown and Jeffries had 142 yards receiving. Taylor Margetts helped Osage's passing attack out by catching six balls for 88 yards.

Jeremy Hill was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 175 yards on 24 carries as the Eagles bested Eldon. David Holland also contributed to the rushing game with 101 yards on the ground.

The Indians' Dean and Jeffries have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dean has thrown for 1503 yards this season, while Jeffries, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 40 catches for 696 yards. Hallsville's Dalton Lindsay leads the league in rushing yards with 785.

A big matchup in Tri-County this week will be when California takes on Osage. The Pintos are in first place, while the Indians are in third place.

California extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Blair Oaks, 31-19. The victory was the sixth in a row for Marty Albertson's team.
