Marshawn Monroe Game Report: @ New Hampstead

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Marshawn Monroe: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made four total tackles (2.0 for loss), helping propel Effingham County past New Hampstead by a score of 23-20. We hope Monroe's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Monroe and Effingham County will challenge Brunswick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monroe had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in September of 2024 42-20.
