Baseball Recap: Stadium Takes a Loss

Stadium had lost eight straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 3-8 to make it nine. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kentridge Chargers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 8-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Aiden Peterson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

As for Kentridge, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

On Kentridge's side, Akoni Nazarino spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits. Nazarino has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Josh Lueck was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs. Brendyn Malapitan was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

While Stadium had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
