Softball Game Preview: Shiner Comanches vs. Moulton Bobkatz

The Shiner Comanches will head out on the road to challenge the Moulton Bobkatz at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Shiner made easy work of Ganado and carried off a 14-7 win. The result was nothing new for the Comanches, who have now won 14 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Moulton waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 16-1 victory.

Shiner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. Moulton's victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Shiner took their win against Moulton in their previous meeting back in April of 2017 by a conclusive 19-2. Does Shiner have another victory up their sleeve, or will Moulton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
