Stanhope Elmore kept a clean sheet against Marbury on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. Stanhope Elmore better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Jay Myers, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Stanhope Elmore has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those five matches. Marbury's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stanhope Elmore will head out to square off against Enterprise at 7:30 p.m. on the 31st. As for Marbury, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Beauregard at 7:00 p.m. on April 1. Marbury will be up against Beauregard's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.25 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
