Volleyball Recap: Central East Comes Up Short

Central East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Clovis East Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on April 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-19, 25-9.

Central East's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for Clovis East, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Central East will square off against rival Clovis at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Clovis East is set to challenge their familiar foe Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
