Volleyball Recap: Capistrano Valley Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tesoro Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Capistrano Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Tesoro, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Capistrano Valley will challenge El Toro at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tesoro, they will face off against San Clemente at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
