Clintonville dropped their record down to 4-16 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against the Wittenberg-Birnamwood Chargers, falling 9-2. As for Wittenberg-Birnamwood, the win (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 22-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games.

On Wittenberg-Birnamwood's side, they got a great performance from Chris Sippl as he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk).
