Baseball Recap: Sage Hill Takes a Loss

Sage Hill fell victim to Laguna Beach and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breakers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Breakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 last Tuesday.

Sage Hill's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Laguna Beach, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sage Hill will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on University at 3:30 p.m. on April 9. As for Laguna Beach, they will take on Villa Park in a tournament on Saturday.
