Volleyball Game Preview: Wild Rose Wildcats vs. Tri-County Penguins

The Wild Rose Wildcats will head out to face off against the Tri-County Penguins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Wild Rose duked it out with Pittsville on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

While Wild Rose was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-22, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Tri-County came up short against Portage on Monday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16.

Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Wild Rose, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Wild Rose suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Tri-County in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
