Football Recap: Central Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Central put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 26-14 win over Park Vista. That's more bragging rights for Central, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The critical scores for Central came from Erin Boyd, Tajeyah Chance, and Kailee Grone.

Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Karla Timothy led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

When it comes to explaining why Park Vista lost, don't look at Zahra Fazal. Despite the final result, she picked up 71 receiving yards and two touchdowns. That's the most receiving touchdowns Fazal has posted since back in March of 2024.

Central pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Park Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 39-6 win against Port St. Lucie on the 25th. As for Park Vista, they have also already played their next match, a 13-0 victory against Monarch on the 24th.
