Football Recap: Polytechnic Takes a Loss

Polytechnic managed to slip by North Side the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Parrots were dealt a 54-26 loss at the hands of the Steers on Friday. The defeat leaves the Parrots still looking for their first win of the season.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North Side, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Coming up, Polytechnic will venture away from home to challenge South Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Parrots will be up against the Scorpions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.14 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Side, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Saginaw at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Steers will need to watch out since the Rough Riders have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
