Volleyball Game Preview: Flowery Branch Falcons vs. Walnut Grove Warriors

The Flowery Branch Falcons will challenge the Walnut Grove Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Flowery Branch faced off against Eastside on Tuesday. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Walnut Grove was able to grind out a solid victory over Madison County on Tuesday, taking the game 2-0.

Walnut Grove's win came from a few key players Flowery Branch will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Scout Peterson, who had 11 digs and three aces. Bella Johnson was another key player, getting ten assists and six digs.

Walnut Grove's win bumped their record up to 26-13. As for Flowery Branch, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-21 record this season.
