Softball Recap: Gilbert Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Gilbert had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Indians have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Gilbert's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Heathwood Hall Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

As of now, neither Gilbert nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
