Houston Academy is a perfect 6-0 against Long since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Houston Academy Raiders will look to defend their home pitch against the Long Rebels at 5:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Long will be up against a hot Houston Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Houston Academy's defense stepped up to hand Northside Methodist Academy a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six goals or more this season.

They hit Northside Methodist Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Elsie Shirley (3), Brinley Harrell (2), and Emily Selig.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long). They blew past Highland Home 10-0 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rebels needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Houston Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-1-2. As for Long, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-3.

Everything went Houston Academy's way against Long in their previous meeting back in February, as Houston Academy made off with a 10-0 win. Does Houston Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Long turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
