Jefferson Township skates past North Warren Regional with ease

Recap: Jefferson Township Falcons vs. North Warren Regional Patriots

The Jefferson Township Falcons can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past North Warren Regional 60-32 at home. Winning may never get old, but Jefferson Township sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Jefferson Township had a senior duo take command as Grace Weihmiller scored 22 points along with five rebounds and Emily Poulas dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Weihmiller has scored all season. Emma Barone was another key contributor, scoring eight points.

Jefferson Township has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. As for North Warren Regional, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson Township will play host again and welcome Montville, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Montville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Jefferson Township is ranked 23rd). As for North Warren Regional, they will be playing at home against Veritas Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Veritas Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so North Warren Regional's offense will have their work cut out for them.
