Basketball Recap: Reynoldsburg Takes Down Hilliard Davidson in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Reynoldsburg walked away with it. They strolled past the Hilliard Davidson Wildcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-48. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Hilliard Davidson still got an impressive performance from Abby Starr, who went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madalyn Lahmers, who posted nine points.

Reynoldsburg pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points over those games. As for Hilliard Davidson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.

Looking ahead, Reynoldsburg will head out to face off against Grove City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hilliard Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
